God is faithful

Paul writes to believers in Corinth who face real pressure to compromise. He reminds them that their temptations are common to everyone, and that God is faithful. He will not let them be tempted beyond what they can bear, and with every temptation he provides a way of escape.

¹³ There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
