Genesis 45:5
Joseph and his brothers
Years after his brothers sold him into slavery, Joseph rules in Egypt and holds their lives in his hands. Instead of revenge he weeps, reveals who he is and forgives them. He sees God's hand in the whole painful story: God sent him ahead to save lives.
Genesis 45:5
5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
